Aisling Bea
Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is one of the most well-known and wealthy Irish comedians. Bea has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is an Irish actor, writer, and comedian. Bea's career began in 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after she was featured in tiny role as a comedian in Irish and British television series beginning in the year 2009. The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms during 2012. Following her win for her performance at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began getting booked on a regular basis for numerous panel shows for which she became a frequent guest. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as a captain in the show 8 Out of 10 Cats and is also a frequent contestant on the spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sister named Sinead. She was the only woman to be awarded So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her surname to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh (O'Sullivan) was born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian took his life aged three. He was a veterinarian for horses. Bea wasn't told the facts about how he passed in her 13th year until the time she was. She adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father and published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's suicide experience. Bea together with her sister Sinead were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. They were all obsessed with races and horses. In her youth Bea was a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead loved performing.
