Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy is a dynamic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her significant contributions to American television. She was a star in American TV series Law & Order, where she played the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy also showed off her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy began her acting career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. The actress starred on Broadway for the Broadway musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story from 1990, and then entered the world of science fiction in 1993 playing the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. In the fall of that year, she was a part of the cast for the NBC hit crime drama Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. As part of the show, she captivated audiences throughout the three years that ended in 1996. Parker has been featured in movies and series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America in which she was awarded an award of a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the best supporting actress. Parker won the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
